We’re CHASING STONE

“The creation of beauty is art”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hand painted styling surfaces made to translate nature’s most inspiring elements and cultural landmarks onto canvas.

Texturally reminiscent of crumbling stone and weathered plaster, our hand painted flatlay surfaces and backdrops make these most sought-after old world aesthetics portable.

Each colorway is either inspired by the beauty found throughout nature, or starts as a firsthand experience in both near and faraway pockets of the world.

What beauty will you create with yours?

MEET THE FOUNDER & ARTIST

Jennifer Kidd

What started in 2018 as a need for a portable, textured, stone-like styling surface quickly grew into the continuously expanding collection you see today. My unyielding fascination and appreciation for the natural world is an intrinsic part of every surface I create.

Each hand painted styling surface and backdrop is dreamt up, developed, and truly made entirely by hand – by me.

I am eternally thankful to have the opportunity to share my lifelong love of nature and painting with you, so that you too can continue to create and share your art with others.

One Tree Planted For Every Product Sold

Since Day One, our resolute commitment to sustainability has driven every decision made. From sourcing eco-conscious and sustainable materials, developing responsible production habits with near-zero waste, to eliminating the use of plastic wherever possible.

We are the first styling surface maker to offer entirely biodegradable packaging with our original branded paper tube and recyclable cardboard shipping box. You’ll also notice we take a very minimalist approach to packaging in general by omitting unnecessary paper goods + hang tags, and by combining multi-surface orders onto a single core whenever possible.

To further our steadfast dedication to environmental stewardship, we are proud supporters of the non-profit One Tree Planted organization. For every product of ours you take home, one tree is planted to help restore and rewild devastated forestland throughout the world.
